In a move similar to the Fox NBC rescue Brooklyn Nine-NineDeadline reports that the network closed the deal Thursday night to save the show in a two-season, 20-episode deal.
Hernandez told fans, “It was a bit difficult, but we did it! Your love and support got us through the finish line, thank you and thank you @nbc for stepping up!”
Other actors also felt the love, including Lost weekswho plays Juliet Higgins, the gender reassigned version of the late John Hillermancharacter in Tom Selleck– original LED.
Posting a smiling image of herself, Weeks cheered on Instagram: “Let’s go see Ohana,” using the Hawaiian word for “family.”
Joint role and train happy endings star Zachary Knighton added“This is for the FANS. You guys are AMAZING!”
Reboot Magnum performed well for CBS in a Friday night slot for four seasons.
